Review on Cotanic Daylight Standard Non-Dimmable Equivalent by John Mejia

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Much whiter than the specified color range. Also far from the brightness of 60 watts.

I have a very uncomfortable recessed light fixture in my kitchen and it took 6 lights to fill the room. A few years ago I bought some LEDs that randomly went out. I think I had 3 different types of bulbs in it (20 year lifespan, my ass) so I wanted to replace them entirely. The ones they replaced claimed to be 40w and a warmer color but they look a bit too yellow for my liking. I chose these lamps to refresh the look of the room. They are MUCH whiter than the color scheme they advertise. Also, they aren't very bright. I just replaced the 40 watt bulbs with 60 watt bulbs and the room is actually much darker with harsh lighting. Like it doesn't project the light that far. Maybe it doesn't seem to bathe in light in that white color spectrum. I hope as much that they will last a very long time as the others, so I'll stick with them. I'll just try a different brand next time.
