Wow! I didn't expect it to be so much hay. I mean, I understand it's fifty pounds, but I keep taking the hay out of the crate (which is in a strong plastic bag inside the crate, which I appreciate). It seems the more I take out the more in the box. Definitely great value for money. Some of the threads are long but I just fold them up and put them in the bunny box. They don't mind that it's uncircumcised. There is a mix of coarser and softer hay but they like it so the consistency is fine with me. Smaller cuttings usually fall on the ground so I just save them to put in their bird house because they are softer for litter. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. Not sure I'll be buying fifty pounds in the future just because of limited storage. But I'll keep buying the same brand - maybe the £30 version. :)
