Review on πŸ“Ÿ Garmin Forerunner 210: Advanced GPS Watch for Fitness Enthusiasts by Eric Ross

Not worth owning, frustrating and unreliable

It is reliable and the heart rate monitor works very well for me. The interface and functionality are great, and I found it to find GPS satellites relatively quickly. However, the charging clip/USB connection is almost fatal. Connect safely and completely difficult. You need to keep a close eye on the watch face to know you have a good connection, and you need to be careful not to miss that connection when setting up. I kept finding the watch dead when it should be fully charged. With a better connection this would definitely be a 5 star article. Another problem is that it turns on for an unknown reason. It doesn't happen often enough to really bother me, but it's annoying. UPDATE: Unreliable and GPS found unreliable. Over time, the GPS function of this watch proved to be unreliable. On a hike today he refused to snap after 30 minutes. Also, after a while it will just stop trying and you'll have to try again to find a GPS signal (although this has proved useless). It's a shame it could have been a good product but it's too frustrating to own. I would not recommend anyone to buy this.
