Review on 🚰 Danco 10670 Single Handle Faucet Cartridge for Aqua Source/Glacier Bay - Plastic and Brass Construction by Stephen Cernatescu

Perfect fit for my Glacier Bay shower faucet. Here's a tip for those who still have low hot water pressure after a change. After installing a new cartridge I still had almost no hot water pressure. So I found out that the brass shower faucet in the wall has threaded shut off valves. You'll see one on each side with a slot so it can be turned with a flathead screwdriver. I tightened each one and then loosened it all the way. When I turned the cold water valve it was smooth, then I turned the hot water valve and it was rough because it destroyed the limescale in the valve when tightened. Then I turned it counterclockwise and it turned smoothly. Then I turned on the shower and I had great pressure on the hot side! This scale was the cause of my low blood pressure. Hope this helps someone with the same problem. I've turned off the water throughout the house to change the cartridge, not realizing that those little valves are all you need to turn it off in the shower. Some brands don't have this clog, thankfully Glacier Bay. I've attached a photo of the valves.
