Got them yesterday and hung them in my garden. They met my expectations and are a huge improvement over the Christmas lights I left for 2 years. They're not bright at all. They're meant to be more subtle mood lighting than anything else. And the light they give off is more yellow than I expected but I love them. They're perfect for an evening on the patio when you don't want bright lights. I will be buying more so I can extend them to the length of the back of the house. They have plastic housings for the LEDs but everything seems well made for what they are. And I really think they are excellent value for money.
