Review on 🌈 rabbitgoo Stained Glass Privacy Window Film: Decorative Mosaic Pattern, Rainbow Tint - Removable, Non-Adhesive, 17.5 x 78.7 inches by Cynthia Chacon

Recently moved into a home that has a front door with a large glass panel and two windows on either side of the door. It's always bothered me that anyone standing on the porch can see everything that's going on in our house. Also, every day during sunset, dazzling light streams into our living room, making it almost impossible to sit on the sofa and armchair. I saw this movie for under $10 and decided to give it a try hoping to kill two birds with one stone. It was easy to install; I measured the windows a few times before cutting, cut as tight as possible, then placed each piece in the window and ran a sharpie along the edge to trim with scissors for a perfect fit. After the foil was applied, I went outside and looked inside. 100% satisfied with how the film looked outside AND the fact that my living room could no longer be seen from the porch. All that was left to do was wait for the next day's sunset to see how it would filter/block the bright sunlight. This film INCREASED glare. It seemed a thousand times worse than mere windows. I'm not sure why or how it happened. Maybe it's a pattern and a matte foil would be better? I do not know. If it was ONLY a privacy issue I would keep this film but we try to block out the sunlight so I have to use a different product. Probably use UV film or tint instead. If you just need a bare glass privacy screen OR just trying to dim INDIRECT light I'm sure this will work perfectly. As for bright, DIRECT sunlight, I would go the other way. Post some photos: bare window in the door, door outside with half film/half no film (if you look closely you can see my husband and baby sitting on our big red chair all in the living room - a good 20 meters from the door) , inside doors and side windows with foil, outside the door completely covered with foil, outside the side window with foil, then our two living rooms for the sunset.
