Review on 🚿 DANCO Brushed Nickel Tub Spout Without Diverter 1-Pack (89247) - Universal & Enhanced SEO by Adam Whittaker

My copper pipe coming out of the wall had a threaded end. Theoretically, this new spout should simply have been rotated. It did, but it only made one full turn around the thread and then stopped moving. And I had a gap of at least 1/4 inch against the wall. I ended up cutting off the threaded copper fitting and used one of the other installation methods that use plastic nipple parts. I've encountered some of the same issues. Others have reported - I had to drill a notch in the slider adapter because the screw would never drill the hole on its own. All this to say I finally got the spout fitted and it's a lot better than the 35 year old spout before . The brushed nickel finish was either scratched when I took it out of the plastic packaging or it was already scratched.
