Stay away from microfiber
Not only do they dry quickly, but they also capture all fibers, hair and dirt that come in contact with them. I can't even wash them with other clothes because they collect all the loose fibers that come off other things when washed. I don't know why I thought a microfiber/cotton blend would be better than regular microfiber. I use them to dry my car because microfiber is soft and cotton scratches. In the kitchen, that's not a problem, so you don't have to deal with the pitfalls of microfiber. Just wear normal cotton clothes.
