Not bad, but not great

Definitely works well. I was able to build this to rip some bushes out of my yard. Depending on what you're pulling, 5 feet of cord is a bit restrictive. The trigger mechanism for pulling the cable is poor and there is no guide to keep the gears from chewing the cable. Overall it did the job I needed, but if I planned to use the community regularly I'd buy a better one.
