Update after 4 weeks of use: When my cat was recovering we were able to leave the door open for him during the day under supervision and most recently the door was open all the time ( just packed arena today!). My cat still willingly sleeps in the playpen with the door open, and when he gets angry he will attack the closed door and zipper with claws and teeth. With 4 weeks of use and its attack on the door there was only one thread caught on the door, no other damage. Definitely a quality product and I highly recommend it. The 45 inch was the perfect size for my 16 pound cat. We have a small compostable bin, a big bed, his food and there is a place where he can take a few steps. He had bilateral FHO surgery and should be restricted in his movements. Our other 17 pound cat (photo of cat in tuxedo) also enjoys going to the playpen when her brother is having physical therapy. Arena is a pop-up style... as he got stronger he wanted out and pulled one corner of the octagon inwards. The rest of the arena stayed in place. He scratched at the web with his claws, but nothing had been torn apart.
