Not what it promises

I wanted to put this at my front door but it’s either on (loud alarm or off 😡) I only wanted to use it like a chime when the front door opens but it doesn’t allow me to do that.

Epic fail. Tried installing it in the door and regardless of whatever we did it would immediately go off when turned on. Had to buy a lock and chain because this didn’t work. Might try it on a window just to see if that works but am not hopeful.
