My husband and I just bought flatware with French Perle White and French Perle Bead pasta bowls. They arrived surprisingly quickly and in perfect condition. The quality is simply excellent. My husband wanted white as he is the family chef and is careful to display his art on white canvas. I am interested in uniqueness and colour. Our values competed with each other until we found two collections of Lenox French Perle in three different patterns. They are elegant but very interesting, especially when combined. Initially we considered buying a highly rated Mikasa Antique White; However, when we saw them in store, they seemed uninteresting to us, and the bright white color reminded us of Corelle. Then we discovered the French Perle tabletop display which featured a mix of white pattern, pearl pattern and the new colorful French Perle. Everything that differs from one another but harmonises perfectly with one another, depending on the mood and the occasion. You can easily set the table by alternating white and pearls in every other portion, and for added interest we mix patterns in one portion. For example, the combination of Bead Plate, White Salad Plate and Bead Pasta Bowl is perfect. With the recently added Everything template, the combinations are now endless. The All pattern is more casual and comes in 8 colors; It can add a big splash of color and fun to the table. We chose 2 colors by alternating the colors of the salad plate. Pattern fidelity is often a long-term investment because of the cost and effort involved. We have searched for a long time and are delighted with our solution as we have received high quality tableware that can be both formal and casual, with an amazing number of options, as well as a wide range of serveware and accessories. We look forward to adding more in the years to come. UPDATE: A year later, I'm sorry that I downgraded my rating from 5 stars to 1 star. In fact we just returned ALL of our meals which included 10 sets of dishes. Dishes, especially plates, were covered with dark scratches. The situation got worse and we got tired of using the Bartenders Friend program to solve problems. I spoke to a few salespeople at Macy's and they said they recognized the problem and assumed it was factory related. Exchange or "bad batch" from Lenox. Perhaps that's true, as Lenox hasn't responded to any of my many inquiries. However, when we asked for a color or design option, they responded within 24 hours when we asked about this issue. NOTHING. I think they know. Purchase at your own risk. Another UPDATE: Three hours after I posted the above update, I received a call from Lenox replying to my original inquiry which I wrote 2 months ago. Just a coincidence. I'm sure it is. Kelly, the customer service rep said she would speak to her manager and get back to me. It was two weeks ago. NOTHING.
