This bulb puts out decent heat and my ball python seemed to like it better than red light, but the bulb burned out in just 8 days. It's only used 6 hours out of 24 hours, so it's possible that a bulb's total run time is 48 hours and it's already burned out. Don't waste your money on this unless you want to place another order for 2 more bulbs in 2 weeks time.
