This muffler perfectly replaced my original muffler on my 2005 Jeep Liberty Sport. With a few ramps, a Dremel, and basic tools, this can be a do-it-yourself job. Before final installation, it makes sense to remove the exhaust pipe and ensure it fits into the muffler outlet. The exhaust pipe can be removed backwards by pivoting the suspension bracket through the suspension spring. You may need to make two cuts in the exhaust pipe and grease it for an easy fit. A seal between the intake pipe and the silencer is not required. The two mounting studs are part of the muffler but nuts (10mm) are not included. The muffler quality is very good and sounds just like the original. Good value as local stores were charging $65-$120 for the same Walker part number!
