I was thrilled to drive the Jeep with the doors open. My stand needs at least one side mirror on the driver's side. I didn't want to waste an arm and leg so I gave it a try. (Also because I didn't want a pair that would fit on a hinge in the hopes that I would someday get metal framed safari doors.) Although they do vibrate a bit (I encourage you to find one - a rear view mirror that doesn't vibrate , so I wasn't surprised), I had no problem moving them around or changing gears, even at 65 mph. The screw is a bit tricky to tighten and loosen by hand so I think some might have trouble with it. But other than that, I highly recommend them as a quick and inexpensive option. No drilling is required to mount the bracket. The holes match the existing windshield frame screws. You just pull out what's on your jeep and screw it in. Took 5 minutes (although you will need to purchase a T5 torque wrench).
