I like them when the doors are closed. They really help hide the blind spots. I don't see vibration as a problem. I can hear the wind howling at certain speeds depending on how windy the day is. This doesn't happen often, and when it does, it's relatively minor. Change the speed a bit and it goes away. I was thrilled to drive the Jeep with the doors open. My stand needs at least one side mirror on the driver's side. I didn't want to waste an arm and leg so I gave it a try. (Also because I didn't want a pair that would fit on a hinge in the hopes that I would someday get metal framed safari doors.) Although they do vibrate a bit (I encourage you to find one - a rear view mirror that doesn't vibrate , so I wasn't surprised), I had no problem moving them around or changing gears, even at 65 mph.

Not a product I would recommend. The purpose of buying such mirrors is that you can quickly connect and disconnect them, which is the weak point of this device. The quick release of this set is operated by a plastic wing cap on the bolt. The problem is that this is also the main pivot, the pivot that you intended to lock in place by tightening the cheap plastic fender cover screws. First I received them in record time, it was stated that delivery would take 2 days but I believe they arrived in 1 day. Well, I took a chance. The packaging is not bad, the workmanship seems very good, the technique is not very good. So the problems lie in three places: 1. Whistling - this happens at speeds as low as 20mph. It appears to persist at high speeds but is drowned out by road noise.2. Mirror Tension - This is due to the ball connecting the back of the mirror to the arm. It's just too loose to keep the mirror in the same place when you hit a decent bump.3.
