Awesome Cast Iron Dutch Oven

In learning new foods to cook, I figured I’d try my hand at some pot roast, but needed a Dutch oven to get my roast in. When I saw this, I thought the 7 quarts might be too big, but it ended up working well for a roast size of about 2.5lbs, and when dropping potatoes and carrots it’s the best size.Overall, I’m amazed at how well this works, even when set to low on the oven it still tends to get really hot inside and the juices bubble. It totally screams quality at a cheaper price point. I’ve used this 3 times already and it’s great to have when cooking. Only drawback or a good point depending on how you look at it, is it’s super heavy. Compared to regular pots I have, I got to say this feels like it’s 15 pounds with the lid, but I totally LOVE it. If you need to add a Dutch oven to your cooking ware, I definitely recommend this. Best of all its dishwasher safe.

Pros
  • The pot's enamel finish prevents rusting and chipping, ensuring that it remains looking as good as new even after many years of use
Cons
  • The enamel can peel or flake off over time, affecting its appearance and durability
