Review on Garmin 650 4 3 Inch Portable Navigator by Brandon Havlicek

How did I get by without GPS? MUST BE!

Well I got this for my husband's birthday (yes I use it mostly as it's not easily lost). We have had this Nuvi 650 GPS Navigator for a little over a year now. I wonder how I ever managed without it. I'm one of those people who can never remember where a place is, even after I've been there a few times. Because of this, I don't usually like traveling long distances (yes, I used a mapquest too, but it's not the same). With this new gadget I feel much more confident and I can go anywhere without much worry. Benefits 1) Find where you want to go and change routes with a click of a button. We have a senior in high school and I've always found GPS so helpful for those college visits. Not only that, with very active kids traveling back and forth to various school competitions, GPS was a must. 2) Find other convenient places right from the car. Wherever you go, you will always find restaurants, banks, etc. This is where you are. 3) Because it's portable, it's not tied to just one machine. We had the opportunity to get GPS with our new Honda Hybrid, but we turned it down because with a wearable device it's where you want it and you're not locked out for $1,000 less. It's one of those tools you don't know how you managed without. If you're like me (get lost easily), this gadget is for you. Nuvi makes the best GPS (this conclusion comes from a lot of research and reviews from other manufacturers). Disadvantage As with any map software, you will need to update the map from time to time. If you live in a very small rural area some streets/restaurants will update rather late.
