I needed a 4K display that I could use as a second display for my 27" iMac at 5K resolution and sometimes play PS4 games. This article is great for that! I would have preferred 5K to match iMac resolution but didn't really want to shell out for such an expensive monitor. For PS4 or PS4 Pro: This is great. I have both the original PS4 and the newer PS4 Pro and they both look The Pro clearly looks a bit sharper with its 4K capabilities, but the older 1080p PS4 looks great too. Thanks to the IPS and HDR panel, the colors are phenomenal. Compared to the other side, I immediately notice a big difference. This LG doesn't look as good BUT it's also MUCH cheaper (and lower resolution). In my opinion because you get what you pay for and I think for the money I got what I expected. Without paying 5000 prices this is as good as it gets and looks a hell of a lot better than the 1080 displays I've hooked up. The stand is very sturdy and I love that it's height adjustable so I can perfectly match the height of my iMac's screen. The fact that it doesn't swivel left and right might be a hindrance for some, but that doesn't bother me personally. Also worth noting is the small single "joystick" on the bottom that you use to control the power. Changing inputs, changing settings etc. I saw some other reviews saying they didn't like it. To be honest, that doesn't bother me personally. The menu is pretty easy to navigate. It can also be nicer than the row of buttons below because you don't have to search for the right button, you can just press the 1 available button and navigate the OSD. I just wanted to bring this up because I was nervous that it might be annoying after reading the reviews, but personally I don't mind at all.
