I was looking for a food thermometer with high and low temp alarm and was surprised that not many of the food thermometers have it, even the most expensive ones. I could find another ChefAlarm but it was a little expensive for my price. Also this I found that the price is a bit higher. Pros: 1. It has both low and high alerts. 2. It comes with two probes, you can measure two foods at the same time. 3. It also works as a timer. Cons: 1. Very poor user interface, in today's world I would have expected more. 2. It will be reset if you turn it off and on again. I expected it to remember the last setting. 3. Low temp is only available when BUILDER is selected, I expected it in program mode too. 4. Not wireless, which is a big disadvantage. 5. Maybe a probe just failed in my box, it didn't work but luckily they have 2 of them so I was able to use them. I hope they sell the sensors separately. It does what I bought it for, which is to make yogurt. My biggest problem is that it resets on shutdown and next time I have to install it again and the UI isn't that good.
