Cool idea, bad implementation.
Looks cool after a one-person seat longer than necessary. Connects well to the car. After we installed it we had a couple of minor gusts of wind that blew it away and ripped the bottom piece that was sewn to the crossbars that the posts run through. To get around this problem, thicker posts are needed. If you live in an area where there is no wind, you may be fine. I checked the weather app and the gusts were 10-15mph. He really should be able to pass this test. Have a look around and check others first. I wouldn't recommend it that way.
