The cable is shorter than the replacement cable. The speedometer is now fluctuating.

The cable is 3 or 4 inches shorter than the one I replaced (1990 Nissan D21) but I was able to install it. Speedo staggers at lower speeds, a bit frustrating, tried to fix to no avail. The positive was that I passed SMOG so it's not bad.
