I love this timer! Three independently programmable timers that can be coded directly via a ten-digit keypad. Easy to use! The backlight goes off after a minute, as other reviewers note. I understand why people don't like it as without the backlight it's harder to read the output screen but not impossible. With this confirmation, however, I've found in practice that I don't even look at this thing until it starts beeping at me. And when I want to read the output, all I have to do is press any button on the device to turn on the backlight for another 60 seconds. So for me it's not a problem at all. Very happy with it!
