Just installed them in 47 degree weather. Went on nice. They just clamp around the existing Jeep rails. Steel stampings (ends) seem robust. Cap screws didn’t strip when tightening (as other Chinese crap screws have one on other products). Extruded aluminum seems strong. Only complaint is that the cap screws stand tall in the track for accessories. Slide your accessory hardware in the tracks first before installing these or you will have to remove the slide bar adjusting cap screws.After installing these cross bars, the tee nuts for my ski racks won’t pass over the cap screws! T’d me off. But these cross rails look good for the money. I bought black on black. Will get the wife the silver for her 2017 Jeep Cherokee next purchase.
