Our favorite brush and scraper combo broke last season and we needed a replacement when I found this tool. The Almadirect 50" Whisk and Telescoping Ice Scraper is a must have for anyone with an SUV or large car and is the perfect replacement/upgrade for our old broom. This winter scraper/sweeper has a pivoting brush and detachable ice scraper that comes in handy when when you need to scrape ice off your windshield but don't need any extra attachments attached to it.I love the feel of this brush.The length is easily increased with a switch that can be pushed on a handle that the stick in as needed one of three lengths locked in place.The bristles on the brush are soft but firm enough to actually push the snow.A few months old but based on the look, feel and functionality it looks like it will do the job get the job done with ease. Good construction with well-molded plastic parts and an aluminum extension make this unit light and strong. Recommend the retractable brush and scraper as an effective way to clean your car during the winter months. It looks like it can withstand and perform well in harsh winter conditions. I will update this review if anything changes with the onset of winter.
