Review on 🏺 CamelBak Chute 750ml Water Bottle by Eduardo Reyes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great water bottle although seals can be a downside.

This water bottle is my favorite water bottle I've ever owned. I've used it at school and at work. First impression: It's quite large, which is very important for those who drink as much water as I do. I can leave it on my desk and not have to refill it for about 2 hours, which is a huge improvement over refilling disposable bottles every hour. The neck of the bottle is excellent thanks to the internal thread. Its smooth surface makes it easier to clean and more comfortable to drink. The bottle appears to be made of durable plastic and feels solid. After a few months of use, I've noticed a few things: First, snapping the cap on while drinking is basically useless. It takes longer to put the lid on than it does to sip water. I used it for the first week or two that I had it, hoping to find a good reason to use it, but there just isn't one. Cool feature, maybe someone will like it, but for me it's useless. Second, the seals on the lid are the weak point. I've had a bottle leak many times because the cap wasn't screwed on perfectly for the seals to work properly. It could be user error, a defect in my particular bottle, or a design flaw. Third, the plastic is hard. I've dropped it on concrete a few times and scratched this bottle but it's holding up great. I don't know what I could have done to break this bottle other than throw it off a three story roof. All in all, this is a quality drinking bottle at an unbeatable price. I'm a bit disappointed with the seals, but I would buy one again anytime.
