When I first installed the speed magnet, it didn't work. I removed the magnet as I wanted to return it. I noticed that there were 2 dots on one side and 4 on the other. I'm not sure if the dots represent poles, but I decided to change the direction of the magnet. Precedent 2017 / lift kit with 18 wheels. The previous speed is 18 miles per hour. Adding a speed magnet. - 18 mph, 4 dots pointing to black speed sensor - 21 mph. I have no idea if the dots have anything to do with the speed sensor or not but it worked for me. Increase total speed + torque. Thanks, hope this helps.
