Fully Featured, Blue Tooth and Well Made

After Car Care Nut recommended Xtool D8 and looked at its reviews, I looked at this diagnostic tool and a lot of people said the same thing. While I was searching a bluetooth version came up, this is the same device only wireless, with BT. Great feature to walk around the car, climb under it etc without being tethered. The wired version has the same features just a little cheaper, so this is also a good option if you're comfortable with a cable. The device is well made and reliable. Not cheap and flimsy like many modern products. So I connected the device to my 2017 Toyota Tundra and ran an automatic scan. Surprisingly, it found several codes that my other budget scanner didn't have. With a few clicks it even finds details and additional information for error codes online instead of just providing the code and then I have to do my own calculation research later. If you look at the features, there are a lot of them. I look forward to custom programming as well as programming some additional keys myself. A few other nice features are the stand and the ODB reader with built-in LED backlight. Nice to find the plug under the dark dash. I'm not a serious mechanic so I probably won't be using many of the features, but it's nice to know I can grow into this device and not outgrow it. It will have all the features I will ever need. I'll continue if I have anything to add as I'll be using it more in the future - Nikos.

Pros
  • Very Impressive
Cons
  • Boring Packaging
