Yesterday I used this tool to level about 8 square feet of old wood board. I ended up removing 1/4 inch in most places with multiple passes of the drill. I could probably cut deeper, but I needed an extension collet and didn't want to overdo things. As the title says, this worked great. not exactly smooth, but that's a function of the grain going in different directions. The drill bit is still very sharp and I expect it will hold a few more boards before it needs sharpening. And for 16€ it's not even worth sharpening, I'll just buy a new one.
