Review on 🚗 Carter P72189: In-Tank Universal Electric Fuel Pump for Efficient Automotive Replacement by Luis Harper

I installed this on my 2004 Duramax as a booster pump with a Wix filter. Has been running like a top for 4 months now and really woke up the truck. I have better max power, easier starts and the idle is completely smooth now. Much more economical than other lift pumps that start at $700 (although I had to make the brackets and finding quick connects was a joke). *Update* After about 7-8 months of use it started to have problems. The seal began to swell and block the pump as the engine stopped. I disassembled it, cleaned it, cut off the swollen gasket, put it back together and it worked again for three weeks until the fuse blew again. Diesel.
