The packaging was very nice. And under those conditions "yes, it would make a great gift." I bought them to clean oysters. It worked great at first, but after a few dozen oysters the blade started to bend more and more and then the tip broke off slightly. I was glad I took both knives, and you know what? The second one is broken too! What a waste of money. So disappointed because I read so many good reviews and this happens on the first day of use. It's not like I've never shelled oysters. If you want to clean oysters with this device, I recommend you use it for easy-to-open oysters. Otherwise you are like me. With broken tips and complete disappointment 😔.
