I live in an OLD apartment building. The front door of my apartment (or maybe the floor/ceiling/door frame) is uneven. There is a large gap at the bottom of the door when closed, about 3/4" to 1/2" high. I cut this door brush to size, glued it on and BAM, no more gaps! ADVANTAGES: - Reduces the noises we make in our apartment when we enter the hallway and vice versa. - Also prevent our air conditioner from going off. in the hallway.- Doesn't let our cats run to the door and stretch out their paws when people are walking by as they physically can't and we don't hear our neighbors walking by so loudly anymore.- May disturb our neighbors which We know about whether we're home as now you can't see the light coming from the bottom of the door (can be good or bad depending on how you look at it but I love it!) CONS: - Update: After approx After 2 weeks the glue really loosened up. I would recommend using a few drops of glue (a few inches apart per drop) to hold it in place if the glue peels off. Highly recommend if you have a gap under the door!
