Not great, Bob! for coffee, tea and espresso
Does it heat water? Yes. End of the pro range. I don't find the controls intuitive. It doesn't turn off, it just goes into standby mode with a blink. It does not cope well with reaching the set temperature. Just turn on the heating and then wander around the neighborhood. I don't think he ever got to 212. The grip is uncomfortable. Rather spend a little more, buy a better kettle.
