Review on Utility Belt Toy for Backyard Safari Adventures by Kevin Wilkins

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good idea but never realized

Small magnifying glass and ruler and mini notepad in a small plastic case, pencil and little Girl Scout patch. I love the idea of a toy that gets my kids exploring the great outdoors. Unfortunately, the execution leaves a lot to be desired. The quality of the items is very low for the price and generally doesn't offer things you probably wouldn't already have. My almost six year old child didn't understand how the belt helps him to discover the world because the objects didn't stimulate the imagination. For the price quoted, I'm not particularly impressed.

Pros
  • Get up close to nature, take notes and store your gear in a tough protective plastic case
Cons
  • Crumpled
