Review on 🕒 Gates TCKWP286: Optimize Performance with Engine Timing Belt Kit and Water Pump by Daniel Robinson

I have a lot of experience with Gates products, especially timing belts. This is perfect for the 2004 Honda Pilot. The belt is of great quality and the hydraulic tensioner was actually part of the OEM from Aisin (see photo). We also have excellent quality idlers and tensioners. The water pump was somewhat missing though, a gasket is included but you will need a small amount of gasket maker or sealant to ensure the gasket stays in place when fitted. Overall I'm very happy with the set and I'm sure we won't have any issues with the components. Will definitely update in a few thousand miles to see how the water pump holds up.
