It works to cut the bottle

This bottle cutter did what it promised. He hit the bottle. However, it is very difficult to make adjustments to the length or width of the bottle. And the instruction manual was basically a tiny, one-page guide on how to assemble it. Nothing was said about how to make modifications to cut the top of the bottle off the bottom or even make it break. I've never cut bottles before, so I had to learn how to do it from other sources. If you just want to cut off the tops of wine bottles to make vases or glasses then that's good for the price.
