Nice skates on outdoor skates

I am new to figure skating and these are my first skates. I took the advice and ordered a size up and they fit perfectly. The boots are very hard and hurt a lot at first. I have found that double socks help a lot. If you look closely you can see where the sides of both skates flex, which worries me, but even tighter lacing doesn't matter, so I'll have to live with that. Compared to other skates, Impala boots are larger and bulkier. As an aspiring figure skater, I almost gave up the first few times I tried skating. What has helped me now is to loosen the carts a bit. The wheels are very soft and grippy, and because the trucks are so narrow you almost have to put your feet up and corner. After the carts were loosened up I was able to slide around the corners and was now having a lot of fun! The photo shows a pair of socks that I ordered here for her as these skates scratch easily when new. I'm 31 years old, not at all athletic, 5ft 3" tall and 185lbs max. I wasn't sure if I would do it, if I could even do it. But I can and I'm having a great time! It's even helping me through the tough times I've been going through lately and I'm determined to continue to be successful in skating! Buy them, you can do it too!
