I am new to figure skating and these are my first skates. I took the advice and ordered a size up and they fit perfectly. The boots are very hard and hurt a lot at first. I have found that double socks help a lot. If you look closely you can see where the sides of both skates flex, which worries me, but even tighter lacing doesn't matter, so I'll have to live with that.
