VW dealer (thief) wanted $108 for the gasket and $67 for the filter. The o-ring on the new filter was thinner than the original, so I used the original because it holds the filter better. Make sure you follow the procedure outlined on YouTube before starting this job on a 2015 VW Golf. It goes against everything I'm used to from old cars, but if you follow the procedures it's easy. After a long research, I used Pentosin ATF 1 LV for my VW. Please remove the old filter before ordering to make sure they are the same.
