The Dorman replacement tailgate cable was a lifesaver for my 15-year-old truck that needed some TLC .Through trial and error, I found that this cable was the perfect fit for my vehicle and the installation was easy enough to do without a mechanic. The cable has proven to be very durable and reliable for my daily use, and I have peace of mind knowing my tailgate won`t fall off unexpectedly. The only con is that the price was a bit higher than other replacement cables I found but the quality makes it worth it..
