This is a quality board and I absolutely love it. I have a 24 x 18 x 1.75". It's great, but too heavy for me. I wish it wasn't. There comes a point where you need to be able to carry it to the sink and to clean.It's too heavy for me but if you have the strength to handle it this is a great beautiful well made chopping board.I would highly recommend going for the 1.5" thickness due to of weight is more suitable for me Both great boards John Boo's board is made in America and used by chefs all over the world They are of high quality.
