Review on Clscea Aquarium Proof Tubing Clear by Rhonda Ackerman

Good length aquarium hose that will hold its shape and not kink. That is very clear. It comes in a neat box with a cutter, a non-return valve, a Y-pipe for two different tools and a very sharp cutter. This hose is sufficient for my needs. I love that it's high quality, odorless, nicely packaged and stays clean when not in use. I used it to assemble a sponge filter and it was VERY DIFFICULT to get a good and secure fit. The hose just isn't very tight around the device. After connecting it and submerging it in the tank, I found it very difficult to keep the filter level - the stiffness of the hose kept it at an angle. After a few hours I decided to go back to the softer whistle I had on hand. I CAN'T REMOVE this hard thing! I had to cut it short and then cut it lengthwise until it split and thus came loose. I know it's intended for use under pressure (CO2) and that's probably why it's so difficult to use. It is good quality, very clear and VERY VERY STRONG. If that's what you want, it's difficult. If you just want a regular aquarium tube and have normal human strength, you may need a different brand/type.
