Damn! This is the MOST Garmin Edge computer mount. I had an official 'Up Front' mount on both mountain bikes and on my first ride of the season (for me) I hit a fallen tree which someone added 'helpful'. I slipped out from behind a wooden ramp and actually hit a tree. My Edge had popped out of the mount and portions of the mount ring were still sticking out around the base where it snaps into place, so I figured I was "lucky" and the mount should have done the trick. , but the impact tore off part of the mounting surface on the bottom of the device. (I called Garmin. I can get a remanufactured replacement 510 for $78. I was surprised the cost was so low. How much does it cost to use a 510?) It still snaps to my road bike's mount, so i kept it . But this mountain is AMAZING! Can't rate higher. Aluminum, plastic mounting ring, adjustable angle, atomic bomb proof! It's going nowhere unless the entire tribe is hit hard. I highly recommend this mount! I highly recommend Garmin to BUY this company and add this mount to their product line! Excellent strength, excellent protection, angle adjustment, machined aluminum. Solid + in my book. Very happy!
