All I needed was a rope! Even had to use the gas cap as an aftermarket one. Thanks to Honda's design, the cable connection to the car is more difficult than it should be! However, this is not the fault of the product. New fuel cap installed and works perfectly. Note that there is a separate cable attachment piece not included with the replacement gas cap assembly that must be removed from the original cable and reused. I noticed that the plastic trim on the inside of this gas cap was sloppy, there is excess extruded material in the vents that was not removed during manufacture. It wasn't well made and definitely not OEM Honda quality, but it does the job.
