Waste of money - Caps

Looks and feels very cheap. There is no check in the package. The label had been torn from the bag with the gas cap. Not at all satisfied. Spend your money elsewhere.

Did not work: parts

I bought it on the left from buying it from a dealer and I still had to buy it from a dealer. The gas cap light stayed on even though it was new, so I had to buy it from Honda anyway.

Replacement of fuel cap not fixed

Suitable for CRV. There are no instructions on how to attach the tether to the vehicle, nor a warning to replace the gas cap. Slowed it down from constant to intermittent but didn't fix the issue.

GAS CAP REVIEW on Gas Caps

DO NOT BUY! These gas caps were recalled by Honda because the orange seal was missing. After installing this cover, the check engine light came on. Because of this, I only had to pay $151 for a cap replacement and additional motor maintenance.

Great product and fits

The product fits great but you have to use the original base to attach the tether and it is very difficult to detach from the gas door. Once you have it removed you can put on a new gas cap which fits my 2013 Honda Accord well.

This worked on my 2019 Honda Insight

I took a chance and ordered this for my 2019 Honda Insight. It was tight but worked well. I had to replace the cord from my old cap with this one but other than that there was no problem. I no longer get a fuel cap screw warning. Much cheaper than buying from a dealer.

Didn't fix the fuel cap warning light on my 2013 Honda Odyssey

I bought this gas cap and didn't fix my warning light. I wanted to spend 500€ for the repair. I decided to go to MIA to see if there were any emissions and was told the gas cap was out of spec. They gave me a free universal gas cap that fixed the problem. Mislabeled to fit Honda Odyssey.

It works, poor attention to detail.

All I needed was a rope! Even had to use the gas cap as an aftermarket one. Thanks to Honda's design, the cable connection to the car is more difficult than it should be! However, this is not the fault of the product. New fuel cap installed and works perfectly. Note that there is a separate cable attachment piece not included with the replacement gas cap assembly that must be removed from the original cable and reused. I noticed that the plastic trim on the inside of this gas cap was sloppy…
