I loved this remote and it worked straight away with the power and volume controls on my Roku Ultra and LG TV. I was also able to program a few buttons from my original TV remote, like "source". The only reason I sent it back was that the IR signal was very directional. Unless it was pointed directly at Roku, no signal was received. I tried another third-party IR remote with my Roku that could be executed pretty much anywhere and still work, but it had a lot of buggy buttons that just didn't work reliably. I'm still giving this distance 3 stars because when I made sure to point it directly at Roku it worked. It just didn't have enough headroom to be used reliably lying on the couch rather than sitting etc. The direction and angle of the remote control made it cumbersome and unreliable to use.
