Yes, you can lift your scooter with this strap. It can also get scratched as the loops don't go anywhere. You can injure your shoulder because there's no way to carry a 50-pound scooter with a belt or position it so it's easy to walk on. You can be happy that with this offer you get two straps until you tuck them in the closet never to use them again. I'm not saying you shouldn't buy this. I am saying that you should think carefully and learn from my mistakes.
