Review on Fumoto F106N FN-Series Drain Valve: Long Nipple & Lever Clip for Efficient Oil Changes by Kyle Costello

Revainrating 5 out of 5

These valves are the best! Highly recommended.

I have used these valves for many years. No tools are required to change the oil. If you tighten the oil filter by hand, you can also unscrew it by hand. Facilitates oil and filter changes. I recommend these valves to my friends. To attempt. Buy it and keep it until your next oil change and then replace the plug with this valve. Use the wrench on the valve body to tighten it. You will not regret it. Now I always buy a valve with a protruding hose. This makes it easy to connect a short 3/8 hose and direct the oil flow to where you need it. The hose does not require a clamp, just clip it on. I like to use an old empty 5 gallon jug. I have a few of these and take them to auto parts and recycle the old oil. You will find that the oil drains a little more slowly when using these valves. Take the time to fill the new oil filter with new oil and lubricate the gasket and when you are done draining the old oil. It's a great system. No more torn pans or plugs from newcomers to oil change locations. In addition, you have the pleasure of doing the work yourself.

Pros
  • Fuel Transfer and Lubrication
Cons
