I tried mobile phone air vent holders, but they didn't suit me at all. I saw this product; looked like a Weathertech phone holder and I thought I'd give it a try. I like it. He holds the phone so I can see directions and see if I have any calls while driving without interfering with the attention I need to give to the road. I've seen several reviews and photos that show part of the gooseneck is broken. Not sure what happened in these cases. I can only think that while it is pliable it should be strong enough to hold the phone in place. I felt better when I had to bend it to hold it in place and move slowly to avoid stressing the part. The head rotates so the phone is in the best position for you to see. I like it when it's sideways instead of up and down.
