I tried mobile phone air vent holders, but they didn't suit me at all. I saw this product; looked like a Weathertech phone holder and I thought I'd give it a try. I like it. He holds the phone so I can see directions and see if I have any calls while driving without interfering with the attention I need to give to the road. I had some issues with the device being over tightened in the cup holder due to over-tightening during initial installation and having a hard time detaching it the first time, but this was remedied by gently manipulating it and removing it from the cup pulled retainer and then readjusted the mechanism with the tension release ring to return the device adjustment threads to the desired direction.
